Install Official Android ICS ROM On Desire S, Desire HD
The Official Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for HTC One V has now been ported to Desire S, Desire HD, which are very identical HTC devices.
You can now Install Android 4.0.3 ROM with HTC Sense 4.0 on Desire S, Desire HD. Since the One V is much newer and more powerful than the Desire devices, there could be a case for suggesting that the ROM may be rather unstable, but the developer claims that such things would never happen, the ROM would be a smooth experience on both older gen devices: Desire S, Desire HD.
In fact the ported ICS ROM is much faster than their native Gingerbread counterparts. However, at times there may be some gripes with camera, Wi-Fi hotspot, and SD card mounting functions, but these should get fixed soon, as per the developer.
