You’ve two ways to install ICS on Note. Either use Method I: Odin via Windows PC or Method II: directly flash zip via ClockworkMod recovery, latter is easier. Let’s follow Odin method first.

Method I: Install ICS using Odin

Step 1. Go to CWM recovery and do a full wipe in the Recovery mode before flashing.

Step 2. On Galaxy Note, enter Download Mode on your device by pressing Volume Down Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button

Step 3. Start Odin. Load up the ROM in the PDA Section of Odin. Make sure not not to change any settings like Flash Lock, Re-Partition etc. Just use Auto-Reboot and F. Reset Time.

Step 4. After flashing make sure to boot into Recovery and do a full wipe. If you want you can adb push GAPPS to your device and install them accordingly.

Method 2: Installation using CWM
Step 1. Read FAQs.

Step 2. Copy GApps and CM9 ZIPs to your internal SDCard.

Step 3. Boot into Recovery, and “choose zip from sdcard” and flash CM9 zip.

Step 4. Next, flash GApps zip.

Step 5. Do a data wipe /factory reset and reboot.

Warning: Don’t use Titanium backup to restore apps.

Enjoy ICS goodness on Galaxy Note!
