Install Android 4.0.3 ICS on Motorola XOOM [Official]
Motorola XOOM was the first official tablet with Android Honeycomb 3.0.
Motorola is now pushing the Official update to it’s Motorola XOOM, giving it Android 4.0.3 ICe Ceream Sandwich. Xoom gets the stock Android ICS giving it the pure Google Experience. The update ICS 4.0.3 is available for Wi-Fi-only Xoom tablet, as of now.
If you have modified your device in anyway you will need to downgrade to build version HTK75D in order to proceed. The update is also only applicable to the U.S Wi-Fi Xoom. we’re not reposible for any damages caused for any other versions of Xoom tablet.
How to Flash / Install Android 4.0.3 Ice cream Sandwich on Xoom
Step 1: Download the zip and place it on a USB pen/flash drive.
Step 2. Connect the UB pen drive to Xoom using a host cable.
Step 3. R3boot into recovery:
Reboot and after the Motorola logo is displayed for approximately three seconds; press the volume down button. The Android recovery logo will appear in the top right hand corner, at this point press volume up to select it. Once booted into recovery the only thing you should see on screen is an Android logo. If you wish to dismiss this menu press the volume up and down buttons together.
Step 4. From the stock recovery menu, choose update from zip and then browse the zip file placed on flash drive.
Sit back and relax as recovery does its magic. You will reboot into Android 4.0.3 ICS soon after.
