The new generation of Android phones have teased us with some amazing burst rates when it comes to taking photos from the camera at full 8megapixels.

However, users of other high-end smartphone owners are definitely jealous of the findings. But thanks to SpriteFish’s Fast Burst Camera, you can shoot photos fast, really insanely fast using any Android phone.

Fast Burst Camera is capable of shooting at 30 photos per second (& 5-10 on low-end phones). Not even DSLRs are able to shoot at this speed.

Hold shoot button for continuous burst, or tap for fast single shots
Zero shutter lag – pictures are taken as soon as shutter button is pressed.

So there must be a catch isn’t it? Yes there is.

How app works

The app records a video when you hold the shutter button, it then creates snapshots from the video to create a low resolution image, whose appeal would depend upon camera’s video capability. If you’re usng a phone that is capable of 1080p, output photos are decent for web sharing, but don’t expect anything above 1MP even with the best phone.

The full version also support ability to focus, mute shutter sound, flash and more.

App is fun to use, but dont expect magic in here with image quality.
