At this year’s Google I/O, Google at hinted new direction for Music with Android with a demo that included an all-new music player along with magical Cloud features that let you push web-purchased songs to your device, and allowed you to browse your PC’s music library from your phone as if it was on the device itself.

All of us know that none of them actually showed up in Gingerbread, but as per the latest leaks, new stuff is still to come, some time soon.
The new Music app looks cleaner and finally has that eye-candy we had been waiting for. The albums are now more reachable via album arts and there’s more frosted glass widgets
There also seems to be some behavioral changes in the app. Like the music app’s menu is displayed as icon and menu key need not be pressed . It seems Google might be getting rid of its hardware buttons entirely, or at least making menu functionality a more obvious part of its relevant applications
The app is bit unstable at this stage, but that shouldn’t stop you from downloading the apk.
