However, users of other high-end smartphone owners are definitely jealous of the findings. But thanks to SpriteFish’s Fast Burst Camera, you can shoot photos fast, really insanely fast using any Android phone.
Fast Burst Camera is capable of shooting at 30 photos per second (& 5-10 on low-end phones). Not even DSLRs are able to shoot at this speed.
Hold shoot button for continuous burst, or tap for fast single shots
Zero shutter lag – pictures are taken as soon as shutter button is pressed.
So there must be a catch isn’t it? Yes there is.
How app works
The app records a video when you hold the shutter button, it then creates snapshots from the video to create a low resolution image, whose appeal would depend upon camera’s video capability. If you’re usng a phone that is capable of 1080p, output photos are decent for web sharing, but don’t expect anything above 1MP even with the best phone.
The full version also support ability to focus, mute shutter sound, flash and more.
App is fun to use, but dont expect magic in here with image quality.
Get Fast Burst from Google Play.

It all started with low battery performance of smartphones, but now its more of a thing we love to showoff. Google Play is loaded with number of apps that either show the battery status or display advanced stats.
One of the best implementations of Battery indicators is done by MIUI ROM. ChargeBar brings the MIUI Style Circular Battery Indicator to all Android ROMs. It brings the same splendid circular progress of battery along with the charge animation.
Developed by Thomas Barrasso, ChargeBar displays the exact amount of charge left in your battery. It does this in the form of a completely customizable thin line.
App is full of settings that let you customize your ChargeBar. You can customize settings like starting on boot, hide in lock screen / full-screen apps to cosmetic ones like the ChargeBar’s color, height and position.
The default color for the Progress-Bar is Holo blue, the native color of Android 4.0 ICS, but you can choose your own color. Also, you can set the height of the battery bar indicator, default being 3 pixels. The best part is that you can place this bar above or below the Notification bar.
Works on Both Android Phones, Tablets Android 2.1 & above.
We love chargeBar and highly recommend it. Get it from Google Play. Best part, its free!

Temple Run is fun, running along the walls of a ruined temple whilst being chased by rather scary looking Evil Demon Monkeys, it really takes the best out of us. The game challenges the player with fast reflexes around the corners and sudden barriers.
Temple Run brings the same smooth experience to nearly all Android phones, Tablets. The graphics, the concept of collecting as many gold coins as possible, is all same.
The game is free and is ad-free. However, you can make in-app purchases in order to buy packs of gold coins which in turn allow new characters and power ups to be purchased, improving the overall gameplay. The game has social aspect to it which lets you challenge your friends for the highest score, which makes it even more fun.
We tested the app on Nexus One, Desire HD, Galaxy Note. Its butter smooth on every single device.

But what happens to older devices? There’s an app for that. You can use just about any android device and attach peripherals like Keyboard, mouse, Hard disk via USB. The app is called USB Host controller and does exactly what it claims.
Application shows enumerated usb devices, and allows you to mount external mass storage devices to the filesystem. Supports advanced features like the ability to reload partition tables and reseting USB devices. It can also control the USB Host functionality of S5PC210 devices with the appropriate kernel patch (more about this later)
Of course, device needs to be rooted to use this app.

AndroGET is simple, yet effective third-party offering gives you total control over your downloads. It allows filesize of upto 2GB. It also includes the many features you’d expect of a download manager such as queuing, acceleration, pause-stop-resume, proxy support and basic HTTP authentication.
It supports a number of file sharing sites, and has been tested with both Mediafire and Uploadbaz. With many such services now only offering limited access (Fileserve, Filesonic et al) in light of the well-documented MegaUpload closure, we’re currently at a point where it’s hard to find a reliable service which won’t cave to FBI fear.
It works seamlessly with stock android browser and Dolphin hd browser. We also checked that it works fine with Skyfire, Firefox and Opera. Down the line, developer promises FTP support, credentials management for FTP & basic HTTP authentication, batch download support, download scheduling & queue automation as well as improved support for the rapidly declining number of file sharing sites.
To summarize, Features:
- Supports large file (up to 2 GB)
- Supports downloading from browsers or email via link share (press and hold the link in a page, choose Share link, and then select AndroGET from the list that shows up)
- Download Queue
- Download Acceleration
- Pause, stop, resume or retry in case of error.
- File Overwrite/Rename
- HTTP/HTTP(s) downloads with proxy support
- basic HTTP authentication
- Dropbox support
- Supports a number of file sharing sites(tested with Mediafire and Uploadbaz)
- Visual Notifications
- Android Stock Browser
- UC Browser
- Dolphin HD & Mini
- Opera Mobile & Mini
- Boat Browser
Enough for an app thats free. Isn’t it?
